Crossbred groupThe Bichpoo combines two curly-coated breeds. The result is a coat that’s difficult to keep free of tangles, and most Bichpoos are kept clipped short by a professional groomer. While that makes coat care easier, it does mean cold dogs on winter days, so it’s best to add a sweater as needed. Additionally, acclimating puppies to having their feet handled will make a lifetime of nail trims easier.

This combination of two somewhat similar and very smart breeds is, not surprisingly, a bright dog who’s relatively easy to train and generally friendly to friends and family alike. As with other Poodle crosses, the Bichpoo may be more easily tolerated by those with allergies.
